The Background
Soil Types: Backfill soil, silty clay, medium sand, pebbles, and gravelly sandstone.
The sheet metal work experienced uneven settlement shortly after construction.
The building has a pile foundation with a portal steel frame lightweight steel structure.
Settlement Area: 10,844 m²
The Problem
The plain fill soil structure is loose and has not undergone self-weight consolidation, leading to high compressibility and low foundation bearing capacity. Large rocks in the soil layer, despite dynamic compaction treatment, may still cause a floating state in the deeper layers, resulting in compression deformation under long-term pressure. The foundation rock face has significant drops, and the geological structure is complex.
The Solution
Through non-destructive, controllable soil solidification patented technology, high-tech composite materials were injected that could solidify the soil in 1 to 30 seconds, fundamentally solving the settlement caused by soil deformation.
Soil Solidification: 1~30s
The Result
The foundation settlement difference of the workshop was reduced to within 10mm, improving the bearing capacity, overall stability, and durability of the foundation, achieving both lifting and reinforcement purposes.
Construction Period: 50 days
Total Lift Amount: 100mm
Settlement Difference Reduced to: 10mm
