The Background
Soil Types: Miscellaneous fill, medium sand, weathered tuff, etc.
Building Area: 14,155 m²
Settlement Area: 276 m²
The Problem
The superficial layer of the foundation consists of loose miscellaneous fill, and some areas of the workshop are overloaded; the backfill layer contains about 50% hard impurities.
The Solution
Use high-tech composite materials to reinforce the settlement area. Inject slurry into the soil layers to solidify them, effectively increasing the bearing capacity of the miscellaneous fill layer. The slurry fills the gaps between the stones in the soil layer, further enhancing the bearing capacity. Grout reinforcement compresses the soil layer, generating a lifting force, and repairs and levels the settled floor to ensure the area's normal use.
Hard Impurity Content: 50%
The Result
After reinforcement, the floor returned to its design elevation and level state. After a period of data observation and comparison, the settlement amount of the workshop floor was controlled within a safe range, and no post-construction secondary settlement occurred.
