The Background
Soil Types:Plain fill soil, silty clay, fine sand.
The building uses a natural ground or pile foundation.
Six pieces of equipment are experiencing uneven settlement, placed directly on the floor without separate foundations.
The Problem
The plain fill soil layer is loosely structured with poor uniformity and varying thickness. The backfilling times ranged from one to several years, and consolidation is not yet complete, resulting in poor geological uniformity and low foundation bearing capacity.
The Solution
The weak soil layer beneath the equipment foundation is reinforced by injecting high-tech composite material slurry, which binds the soil particles together, effectively improving the bearing capacity of the weak soil layer. To ensure the overall integrity and durability of the reinforced area, several irregular composite piles are designed beneath the composite foundation reinforcement platform, collectively bearing the superstructure load and achieving the overall stability and durability of the reinforced area.
The Result
The weak soil layer was reinforced, and its bearing capacity was improved. The settlement areas were lifted and leveled to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
Construction Period: 15 days.
Total Lift Amount: 60mm.
